Hi,
I needed to transfer all of my email activity over to my laptop
(Vista) whilst I did a fresh install on my desktop (XP) and used the
Save My Settings wizard to copy across all the relevant data,
including account settings etc to save me manually re-entering all my
email account details.
Unfortunately, this also saved the "paths" to my personal folders so
that Outlook on my laptop is now looking for my personal folders as if
it was my desktop, and obviously can't find them.
It invites me to specify a new path to my personal folders, but being
Vista I can't seem to find them.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office on the laptop but that
didn't help. The wrong "path" info is still there, so it won't even
launch.
I'd be grateful for any help with this as I'm pretty much stuck until
I can get it sorted.
Thanks in advance
Paul
