I have a task that is showing a start date of saturday, when the work
actually doesn't start until sunday - the resources were overallocated for
the saturday so I had to shift the work to sunday. In the resource usage
view the task is showing 0 hours for the saturday instead of being blank
which is presumably why the start date is showing for the saturday. The
duration field is correctly showing 4 hours even the start date is saturday
and the end date is sunday.
I presume it is calculating the start date based on the end of the
predecessor task and ignoring the resource constraint. How can I have the
scheduler automatically show the date tasks like this actually start?
