Hi Folks,
I have an issue that I cannot seem to find a resolve for.
I have a client who uses Outlook 2000 on a Win2k SP2 box.
For some reason, even when I create another profile, the
defaults on some of the office apps point to another user
who's barely even used that pc. I have even deleted that
account/profile.
Here's an example of what's happening. Let's use my name
(as the current user) and Bob as the previous user.
I create my outlook account (from a server in a LAN) and I
can send and receive mail. But when I go to Send a new
message, click the "To:" field and browse to my contacts,
I get told I don't have permission to my "Contacts". So, I
look up the services and check out the "Addressing" Tab
and the properties for "Contacts" and it says
Information "Mailbox - Bob" (NOT CHRIS)
Contact folder "Contacts"
I've tried removing this and re-creating, but it's
recreating it with a username (from the same network) by
default.
This is IMMENSELY frustrating!
Thanks,
