I have encountered a problematic behavior, which I suspect to be a bug:
In a document with multiple figures, adding a new text box (or any shape
with added text) to one of the figures sometimes causes it to get "linked"
(?) to another text box in the same or another figure. By "linked" I mean
that when you start editing the text in the new text box, it also changes the
text in one of the old ones, and vice versa (the shape and text formatting
for the two boxes can still be done independently).
Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce this behavior systematically to say
exactly what sequence of actions causes it. Seems like it is less likely to
happen if I draw/build my drawings one after another shape-by-shape.
Copy-pasting the individual shapes and whole drawings,
saving-closing-reopening the file, grouping/ungrouping - all seem to make
things worse.
I wonder if anyone have stumbled on this too. Please help.
Anya
P.S.: My text boxes are not anchored to header/footer
