WSS and PWA broken connection (Project Server 2003)

I have somehow broke the connection between WSS and PWA on a Windows 2003
Server after fixing another problem with Windows Update Service (Microsoft
had me reregister some DLL's to fix that problem).

The Home page for projects shows Risks & Issues with the comment "There is a
problem establishing a connection with the Web server running Windows
SharePoint Services. Contact your system administrator" and I also see the
same error when going into Documents and trying to access any project
library.

Odd thing is that I can go from PWA, through theProjects tab and open the
selected project workspace. This way I see all the documents and the sites
work fine.

I unfortunately am the Administrator for the system, but am inexperienced.
I have poked around but have not been able to figure out how to connect them
back up.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I ran the utility and re-entered the admin account and password into both
sections (OLAP & Admin) & selected Create/Update. I received the completed
successfully message, but the problem still exists. I did confirm that the
NT account is valid and I even logged onto the server with that account.
What else might be the problem?
Thanks again!

Hi Mike, alas it's impossible to remotely diagnose and resolve this type of
issue. I would suggest to find the system document created at install time,
and run through that. In there you should find the accounts and passwords
used to install PS2003. If the documentation doesn't exist, then I expect
you will need external help.

Good luck.

Ben,
As it turns out - I talked with Microsoft a bit, and the proxycfg -d command
needed to be re-entered. I guess there is an issue between Windows update
service and Project Server to some degree, so you have to be creative to get
both to work sometimes.
The links that were provided to me were the following. The 2nd one was a
little better to solve my specific problem:

You cannot access issues or documents after you apply a Microsoft Project
Server 2002 hotfix

Again thanks for all the help!
