We've deployed project server and we have been using it for about 2 months.
We now want to change our WSS configuration so that the
risks/issues/documents are stored on our SharePoint Portal server which is
different from our current WSS configuration. Currently, we have a WSS
instance on the same server as our Project server. I've reconfigured the WSS
settings on PWA to point to the new SharePoint server. I've made sure the
admin user rights are set properly and that the URLs are correct. I've even
had to adjust the proxy configuration. It seems like for new projects, the
new configuration works fine. But for old projects that already had a
sharepoint document library associated with the old configuration, I get an
error. The error I get is:
"The documents, risks and issues features in Project Web Access use Windows
SharePoint Services. There is a problem establishing a connection with the
Web server running Windows SharePoint Services. Contact your system
administrator."
Any insight or advice would be much appreciated.
