WSS Documents offline

Hi All,

Is there a way or a piece of software to keep project documents offline from
WSS for several persons at the same time ?

Hints would be appreciated very much,

Hi ,

Meanwhile we found something which seems to come close to our needs. This
piece of software is called "Groove Virtual Office". Anyway, to explain a
bit better than I did before:
A projectmanager wants to keep all project related documents offline on
his PC. I'm talking about documentation loaded into Sharepoint Services
using EPM. These documents should be kept synchronized. So, when this PM
changes a document - probably at the customer during a meeting - and he
comes back to the office , this changed document should get synchronized
into the Sharepoint Web site.
This requirement is somewhat similar to the offline folder feature in Win
2000 and Win 2003.

You are very much on the right track with Groove. Microsoft doesn't buy
companies unless it intends on implementing its technologies. Something
tells me that Groove's technology and SharePoint were made for each other.
