Hi;

In my Windows Sharepoint Services server, when I clicked on "Synchronize
with Project Server" in Shared Document, I got the following message...

"The server running Windows Sharepoint Services failed to connect to project
server"

Does anyone of you know what is going on? the URL of my Project Server is
http://projects/projectserver and the Sharepoint site is http://w3projects

Both of the Project Server and WSS are sitting at two different server box.

Thanks in advance!

Firstly check connectivity between the two server, can both servers
ping/"see" each other?
Then make sure that you can access the WSS admin console from the project
server.

Yes, both server can ping each other.

And I am using the following URL for difference purpose.

SharePoint Central Administration URL: http://web2:25597

A site under SharePoint URL: http://w3projects:80/sites

SharePoint Extranet Address: http://projects.thew3solution.com/projects

When I click this
http://w3projects:80/sites/MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments at my Project
Server, I can open the page at SharePoint server box (WSS)

What else should I check? It seems, I can sync from WSS to Project Server.

Thanks!~
