WSS: Local admin accnt in local admin group.

Hello all.
Our installation of MSP server is working fine in a 3 virtual server
environment (databases/applications/session mgr and viewsprocess). PWA is
working and the OLAP cube is being built, its all gravy.

If you are logged directly on the MSP/WSS/PWA application server as a local
admin account who is a member of the local Administrators group, then the WSS
features work (risks, issues, project web sites). They are there. The project
subwebs are being created upon project publish, the Risk and Issues pages are
there and operational. I use "run>mstsc>servername" with a local admin
account who is a member of the local Administrators group to accomplish this.

If you access the WSS features of PWA from a user log-in account, through
Citrix or not, with any known MSP PWA user account including PWA Admin then
you are prompted by a pop-up log-in box. It wants your user name and
password. Nothing entered works EXCEPT an admin account described above. I
can enter that local admin log-in data and pass through the log-in box. A
domain admin account, which is in the local administrators group is not
recognised.

I ping'd the path on the pop-up box asking for log-in data and it definately
is the path to the MSP/PWA/WSS app server.

I am really stuck on the belief that we installed the system correctly since
it is really is doing what it is suppossed to do like generating project
subwebs, etc.. However I think I messed up some permission setting. Any ideas?

Thanks very much and happy holidays to you all.
Matt

Yes it is MSP Server 2003. Yes I have synchronized admin accounts.
Seems like this should be a simple setting sort of like what you suggested.
Thanks.
