WSS Officeweb part data issue

Have WSS on Windows 2003 server using a Office 2003 Chart web part and I get
the following error:
Failed to get data. If available, errors returned from the provider are
listed below.
* The "" object can not be found.

I see no obvious errors on the server related to this error message when I
try to view the data - I can connect to a .uxdc file on the web server, but
when I say connect - it says it is not connected.

Any sugestions would be helpful. I assume it is security, jjust can not
figure out where
