Hi,
I'm using Project 2003 SP1 on a Windows Server 2003 with WSS and SQL Server
2000 installed on the same server. I've a problem using risks, issues and
documents linked to a project. When a user tryes to link any of the above,
he's prompted for a password. I found out that, every time a new project is
created, a new site named /sites/projectserver_nnn (where nnn varies for any
project) is created in WSS. This site will contain the risks, issues and
documents (and maybe something else) related to the project. The problem is
that Project gives rights to this site only to its administrative account,
not to any project user. After assigning the rights in sharepoint to the
users everything works fine, but the user management in sharepoint is very
boring, and I must do it manualy for any project and for any user.
Is there any other solution ?
Thanks.
Massimo.
