WSS Sync-ing **Please Help**

My AD Group in PWA is syncing fine with PWA but i've got a cluster of odd
people in my main WSS site -- where is teh breakdown in the communication
between PWA and WSS? it was my understanding that the AD group PWA uses when
using windows auth to log on -- auto adds the users into the Project Managers
group within WSS? This is not the case....

Hi Erin,

Doing an AD Synchronization with the Enterprise Resource Pool or Project
Server Groups is not the same thing as Project Server synchronizing with
WSS Project Workspace sites. These two processes are entirely different.

Synchronizing PWA users (which must be Windows Authenticated users) with
WSS Project Workspace sites is done automatically under the following
conditions:

1. Team Web Site creation is set to automatic (not manual)

AND

2. "Automatically add Project Web Access users..." checkbox is checked *

*Special Note:
Users are automatically added to the project workspace site only
a. When SharePoint site is created
OR
b. Project Manager publishes the project information to Project
Server
