Hello:
I am using Project Server 2007 and the project workspace provisioning
settings is set to do automatic permission synch with workspaces. In
general, the synch appears to be working fine except for the
following:
I added a user from the Project Manager group to a project's team via
Pro > Tools > Build Team from Enterprise. I was expecting that when I
published the project, the user would get the "Project Managers
(Microsoft Office Project Server)" permission to the workspace since
this project now becomes a "My Projects" for the user and we have
"Save Project" category permission enabled for Project Managers for
"My Projects" category. However, the user is getting only the "Readers
(Microsoft Office Project Server)" permission. Am I missing
something?
I also tried logging in as the user and publish the project. Still,
the workspace permission did not change.
then I changed the Status Manager field for a few tasks to this user
and published the project, still no change.
Please provide any thoughts you may have.
Thank you!
