When you say "want to connect sharepoint portal server" what exactly do
you mean? Are you using SPS with Project Server right now, or have you
installed WSS and Project Server and want to integrate WSS with a
separate installation of SPS?

For example...
Do you want to include a link on the PWA to point to your portal
site on SPS?

Do you want to integrate your WSS team site (used in Project
Server) in your portal site?

You'll need to be a little more specific.

Hello Rolly
I want to include a link on the PWA to point to your portal
site on SPS? How?

Complete the following in Project Web Access with Administrator rights:

1. On the Admin page in Project Web Access, in the side pane under
Actions, click Customize Project Web Access.
2. In the side pane, under Customization options, click Home page
format.
3. On the Home page format page, under Add Links, click Insert Row, and
add the Link Name and URL
4. Click Save Changes.
And i want to integrate your WSS team site (used in Project
Server) in your portal site?how?

This is done in a two step process

Step 1 - Add a Site Link in SPS

Complete the following in SharePoint Portal Server with SharePoint
Administrator rights:

1. Open Internet Explorer and launch your SPS Portal Site
2. Click on Sites in the menu bar
3. In the Actions pane (left side), click on Add Link to Site
4. In the Add Link to Site page, add the following information and click
OK:
Title* (Name of PWA WSS site)
URL* (URL of Project WSS site)
Description (Descriptive field)
Owner (domain\username)
* required fields

Step 2 - Add Link to Site in SPS

1. Open Internet Explorer and launch your WSS Site
2. From the Home page, click Site Settings
3. From Site Settings page, under Administration, click Go to Site
Administration
4. From the Top-level Site Administration page, under Site Collection
Administration, click Configure connection to portal site
5. From Configure Connection to Portal Site page, select Connect to
portal site and type the following information and click OK:
Portal Web Address (URL of SPS portal page)
Portal Name (Name used in navigation link from WSS to SPS)

You should now see a SPS link (upper right side) on your WSS site that
will display something like: "Up to {Portal Name]"

Hope this helps

Good Luck
