X Axis truncating

Hi there

I have a chart, where below the chart I have the chart
is pulling it's data.

Problem: the X Axis is the Month's(MMM) in the year.
For the Month of MAY in the chart only MA appears
While all the other month's the three digit month
appear's fine. I cleared and retyped MAY in the cell
MAY will appear if I angle the X axis Label to 45 degree's
but at 90 degree's or 0 degree's only MA appears
What's going On????

How cramped is the axis? There's a possibly related article in the MS
Knowledge Base, http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=834579, but it seems
to be saying, duh, you have too many labels in too small a space.

I suspect something different is happening. What happens if you change
the zoom factor, open the file on another computer, change the axis
scale to get more or fewer axis labels? There is another problem, pretty
much undocumented, in which the Y axis title is truncated, and that one
seems related to monitor type, zoom factor, and day of the week.
