Hi,
I have installed a certificate generated from my exchange 2003 server and
received it from my Mac. I'm using tiger. I have imported it into my
keychain and designated it as a X509 Anchor. The first time I connected to
my exchange server it told me it would be insecure, because the certificate
was not setup. I tried a few things and removed the exchange email account
from entourage. When I added it again, it verified from within the account
setup wizard and did not tell me about the possibly security threat. Can I
rest assured that it's secure? I've downloaded MSUAM and believe to have
found it installed by going into the directory access and clicking on the
LDAPv3 service and checking the security tab from my sole configuration I've
setup point to this exchange 2003 server. I have Access to Directory checked
for "Use authentication when connecting" with my exchange account
credentials. I have Security Policy checked on everything "Disable clear
text passwords, Digitally sign all packets, Encrypt all packets, and Block
man-in-the-middle attacks". I hope to be able to read up fully on this when
more free time comes, but I'd like to be safe until then. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter
