x64 version of Office 2007 Standard??

S

Scott Townsend

Did I miss something? When I installed Office Pro Plus from my MSDN it
installed the x64 version on my Vista box.

Not that I'm ready to fire up my x64 version of my Win2003 Terminal Server
and using my copy of 2007 Standard it wants to install x86?

Is there a Special x64 CD for office 2007 standard? Is it a special order
from MS Open Licensing? Install Switch?

Thanks,
Scott<M-

Hi Scott,

As Patrick said, we do not provide 64-bit version of Office 2007.

I am a little curious how you know you have installed an x64 version? Do
you mind telling me that? If necessary, please also take a screenshot:

** To take a screenshot
---------------------
1. When you see the information that indicates you have installed Office
2007 x64, press PrScrn key on your keyboard.
2. Type "mspaint" (without the quotation marks) in Start>Run box and click
OK.
3. Click Edit>Paste to paste the screenshot.
4. Save it as JPEG file type and send it as Email attachment.
---------------------

Please send it directly to this newsgroup or you can send it to my e-mail
address: <[email protected]>

Thanks!

Leon Hao

Hi Scott,

To add to Patrick's and Leon's comments, I'm a bit unclear on how the Standard Edition and Pro Plus editions of Office 2007 are both
in play in your scenario.

For Office 2007 only volume license keyed Office products function can be used on Terminal Server:

The Standard Ed I have is a Volume License Ed. THe Pro Plus is MSDN.

I've lent out my Laptop with Vista and Office Pro Plus 2007, I was pretty
sure that it installed in the Program Files (x64) Directory. Maybe I looked
to quick.

I'll get it today and see what it is.

Thanks,
Scott<-
