I have built a spreadsheet that works fine on 2 machines, using the
"Monthview 6.0 (SP4)" control as a date picker.
However, when I try to run the spreadsheet on a third machine that is
supposed to be built the same as the other two, the Monthview control shows
as a big red X.
So, I checked the mscomct2.ocx control was present on the third machine. It
was exactly the same as the first two, and was present in the list of
available ActiveX controls in the Toolbox.
Then, using the third machine, I tried adding another Monthview next to the
first one that was showing a big red X (using the existing list of available
ActiveX controls in the Toolbox) and not only did the second one display
correctly, but the first one also immediately started to display correctly
too!
So, I tried to run the sheet's macros and got an unexpected message that my
macro security was wrong and that I should exit the sheet, correct my macro
settings and reload. I tried to do this, but the security settings in Trust
Center were already correct, and the same as the other two machines.
Anyone got any ideas, please?
