I created an XLA that adds user-defined functions to Excel
2000. I have this XLA file on our file server. My users
have enabled the add-in. (If memory serves, they are told
that the XLA would be moved to their local system). One
user saves a spreadsheet that uses the XLA-defined
functions in a formula. When another user opens the
spreadsheet, the formula has a link to the original user's
copy of the XLA. The 2nd user must update the link to XLA
to point to their local copy of the XLA. How do I make
use of the XLA more transparent to my users?
