It's an add-in, an Excel workbook with no visible worksheets. Addins are
used to store special functions, template sheets, macro code and/or custom
userforms for use in "any excel file". It provides Excel with extra power or
with business-spesific utilities. The visible part of add-ins is usually an
extra toolbar or new/extra menu items.
