XLS File Import

Tried to import Excel file into exissting Access Table with field values. In excel Logical Field has values TRUE/FALSE. In Access it is YES/NO which is like a check box. After each import, check boxes in Tables are replaced with TRUE/FALSE. Everytime, I have to change to properties of the table. From YES/NO , I change to text format and then again to YES/No, it works then. Is there any other way to correct this issue? Pls help. Thanks in advance
