Really don't know where to put this....help if you can.
Our university demands we use their .xls form for purchasing...we fill out
the form and mail it to campus admin. We not only have to enter the info
into their .xls but then into our own Access DB. My solution to stop the
duplication of work is to turn their .xls form into an html...this way the
info from their .xls form is dropped into our Access DB and then can then
printed for submitting.
Problem 1...I saved the .xls as an .html...looks great but the .html is
bigger than the print area for our printer...web pages don't handle size the
same as .xls. About an inch of the width and two inches of the length are cut
off.
Is there some meta tag that will force the form to reduce the job to fit
8.5x11?
Problem 2...the .xls form automatically prints landscape. I found a script
online to make a web page print landscape...doesn't work with tables, a
converted .xls is one big table. Is there a way to print landscape?
