one of our computers is running Office 2000 Premium and
has a very unusual problem as of late: When trying to
send the file from EXCEL (FILE/SEND/as attachment)the
recipient (any recipient) gets multiple copies of the
email and the icon is not the EXCEL icon but a generic one
and the sheet cannot be opened. ALSO, there is a lot of
gobblygook in the body of the email when there is no text
in the original email. I have tried this with
various .xls sheets and workbooks in case the file(s) were
corrupt and I have tried sending from Outlook itself and
attaching the files. Same result from both applications.
Any suggestions? By the way, I have reinstalled Office
and did updates and I do not have this problem with any
other Office application except EXCEL.
