xlsm conversion

currently using Excel 2004 for Mac. The office open xml converter for mac does not support the xlsm file format. How can I convert an xlsm file to a format that I can open on Excel 2004 for Mac?

Thanks for any suggesetions.

You can't. You'll have to wait for the converter, or have the person who
created the xlsm file save it as an xls file.
