xlsx password protected

An ex employee password protected a xlsx (excel 2007) file. She was not
authorized to do this but did it anyway. Legal matters aside, is there a
way to reset this pw or open this xlsx file? She probably used a strong
password.

I think any reply to this post is to be avoided. The original poster can
take legal action. Any reply from us could be illegal.
