XMI import?

When I downloaded and installed Visio 2003 I was looking forward to see a full XMI support. Unfortunately nothing seemed to change since the last version 2002. I must say I was very disappointed. It tremendously degrades the usability of this otherwise excellent software and makes it unusable for our UML modeling needs. Is there a full XMI support in plans for the final release of Visio 2003? I don't see a point not to support this more common and widely usable standard. Thanks for your help
