I opened a email attachment and Word connected and downloaded another XML
update. I thought I had updated it, and why did it connect again?

Hi John:

Without version information on the OS and Word, we simply can't answer. We
support 20 versions of each!

Sorry.

I actually need the version information from the same person who asked the
original question :)

And the most important one is the "Application Update Level": I need to know
what is the latest Update applied to Word 2004: you can get that from the
Word>About Word... Menu item.

However, in YOUR case, if you are asking the same question, YOUR answer
would be "Because when you updated Word 2004, you did not update the XML
converter, which is actually a piece of Office 2008".

Hope this helps: Still waiting on the version info from John.
