XML data island error

Hello,

I a Project Administrator trying to famliarize myself w/ anything &
everything Project Web Access related. One of my resources tried to print a
project plan from Project Web Access and encountered the following error
message:

"There was an error loading the in-line XML data island.
XML document must have a top-level element."

What does this mean, and how can I resolve this? I tried searching previous
posts for similar errors but could not find one that applied to this case.
Thanks very much in advance!!

Proj_Admin,

although I have never heard of that error, here's two questions that popped
into my mind.

1/ Do other users on different computers get the same message?
2/ Have you tried to publishing the project plan again from Project
Professional (Collaborate / Publish / Project Plan / Project Plan with
summary)?

Let us know...

Hello Marc,

I've had several users replicate the process and no one received the same
message; everyone was able to print the project plan to the grid, except for
the indicated resource.

I also published the project plan again from Project Professional and still
to no avail. Thanks for the recommendations...I will keep plugging along and
trying new suggestions as they come.

Thanks for the article! We've now discovered it has to do with this user's
Pop-up Blocker settings. Our internal IT team is now able [equipped with
this article) to process the error. Thanks again,
