XML format of VDC in a C# format

Hi,
Is it possible to get the XML format of a VDC in C# beside the
SaveAs("Afilename.vdx") method ???? (I just do not prefer to save in in
physical files unless there is no other way)

eg.
string XMLFormatOfVDC = AxDrawingControl.GetTheXMLForlmat;
