Hello,
We are trying to use MSP XML format as it can be easily read and written
from Java. We are comparing performance of XML loading and saving to that of
import / export maps and so far have noticed that saving to XML is very fast,
while loading from XML on larger files becomes slow very quickly.
On a 2000 task project load takes ~15s on my machine. The tasks have
resource assignments (random), but no precedences. My MSP has SP1, version of
MSP is 12.0.6318.5000 and SP1 is 12.0.6320.5000.
Is there a way to speed up loading of large XML files?
