Hello everyone.
I'm struggling with the XmlFormView control provided by the
Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Server assembly. For example if you enter an
invalid XSN location the form displays the error message dialog box where you
can either choose to close the message or try again. Typically you want to
close that message.. a small black on white text "the form has been closed"
appears. Good. However... if you refresh the page again.. or in a sharepoint
environment you want to switch to edit mode.. the page will be completely
blank and show the same text as before (the form has been closed) and there
is absolutely no way you can access the sharepoint edit toolbar or anything
else. This is very disturbing and causes a lot of complains.
So I wondered if I can check the state of the XmlFormView control and see
wheter the embedded form is "closed, valid, ...whatever". No such luck. Or at
least I couldn't find anything suitable :-/
Hints and suggestions are quite welcome!
