XNPV Function for office 2004 for mac

In Excel for windows there is an XNPV function. Is this available in the
Office V 2004 for mac? When I import sheets from my windows machine, the
xnpv functions always error & I don't see it in the Financial functions
list.

If you look up "XNPV" in XL04's Help, you'll see

If this function is not available, and returns the #NAME? error,
install and load the Analysis ToolPak add-in.

which you can do by choosing Tools/Add-ins..., then checking the
checkbox next to "Analysis ToolPak"

XNPV is also listed in the Insert/Function dialog's function list under
Financial Functions, between XIRR and YIELD.
