XP, 2003, licensing, installation

Hi,

I purchased Office XP professional about a year ago, and recently my work
told me I could purchase Office 2003 for a substantially discounted price
from Microsoft under their "software assurance" arrangement. So I did.

Am I allowed to uninstall Office XP off the computer it is currently on, and
install it on my spare, and then install Office 2003 on my main PC, without
voiding any of XP's licensing arrangements, or getting electrocuted or
whatever during product activation?

Can anyone recommend a more appropriate place to direct this question, given
that nobody here seems to know?

Is there anything I can clarify?

GPO,

If Win XP is a retail version it can be removed from one computer and
installed on another.

If Win XP is an "OEM" version then this cannot be done <legally>.

Office 2003 can be installed on any one PC you want it to be installed on.

Thanks for your reply Nospam,

No I'm talking about Office XP not Win XP. Does the same apply?

GPO,

Yes, if Office was not pre-installed on the PC then can be installed on any
PC. How many PC's it can be installed upon depends upon version and
licensing.
