XP - Access 2003 BUG

I had Posted this last week in "General Questions", and did get a Reply (see
below). My Client's IS Dept is not readily accepting thie explanation, and
MUST be the ones to install XP SP 3.

Can anyone provide "evidence" that the below IS an issue..

We have 3 new PCs intalled w/ Windows XP SP 2 and Access 2003 SP 2.
Existing databases work fine on other Installations, but NOT on the 3 new
Installations.

I get this Error Message when I enter a Form Module for all 3 Users
above..

I Posted this in the Microsoft Access "General Questions" Newsgroups
and rec'd this reply..

....People will tend to ignore your warning because they didn't have problems
with their PCs. OTH, if you'd mentioned installing the new Windows XP SP-3
caused problems with Access, people would've heard your warning.

Not sure about your environment, have you installed and registered
Visual Studio as system debugger?

When not, then you can/should open a support case with Microsoft, as
these messages are indicating a "real" problem/bug.

But be aware, they may be also insist on installing the SP3...

Just forwarded this to our IS guys..will report back in this thread what
occurs..even if it takes days/ weeks.

C. Why does the failure of the Code editor fire the C++ debugger (and fails
anyway), rather than failing more gracefully/helpfully with an Access message?
Answer: Most programs, like Microsoft Access, and the Windows operating
system, and components, such as printer drivers, are written in C++. When the
crash occurs, it is occurring at the C++ level, and therefore the C++
debugger is being invoked.

So once again, my recommendation is that you contact the manufacturer of your
printer (contact by Internet, email, telephone, whatever), and attempt to
acquire a
later and greater version of your print driver. Install the new print driver
and
test to see if this will resolve your issue with default.

It is not at all clear what your question might be.
