XP adding Office 2000

This maybe a real dumb question but, I have a new PC
with XP Home edition, can I install Office Pro 2000 on it
with out any problems surfacing??

I forgot to add that the CD is old and states it is only
for NT and Win 98...

I hate to go out and buy another for XP..

At the time that Office 2000 came out, the only OS out for Windows were the
9x versions and NT. Windows ME, 2000 and XP were not released.
