Further to my previous question. I am unable to find out some specific
answers, I'm hoping that someone can help me as
I'm very seriously considering buying XP Developer but I need to know
certain specs about it.
1. When you compile to an .exe (Access only), does the customer need Access
as a backend, or do you use SQL as a backend?
2. Are you developing in a true Access environment but simply have more
tools available to you?
3. Does the end product look and feel exactly like Access except in a
compiled state?
4. Do you/can you still split to front end/back end as in Access?
5. Are you still working only with VBA or is the language extended to
encompass VB tools/objects?
If anyone has a site that will give me some more detailed information, I
would be pleased to know about it.
TIA
Much appreciated.
