XP Merge with Access parameter qry

We have been using Office 97 and merging letters in Word
with Access parameter queries. We just upgraded to
Office XP and now some of our merges with parameter
queries cannot find the data source. Plus when we try to
create a new merge in Word linked to an Access parameter
query we cannot find the parameter queries in the list of
available tables/queries in our database.

Word 2002 has changed the way connection is made to data from DDE to OLEDB.
You can still use the old method - see the Excel section (Same problem with
Excel) in http://www.gmayor.dsl.pipex.com/mail_merge_labels_with_word_xp.htm
