XP MSWORD 2000 SR-1 Cannot create new or blank document

Somebody used my computer and created a document in msword. The problem is I can't delete this document and
every time I try to create a new or blank document, this same document keeps coming up. It's almost as if some how
the document template has been edited. I have uninstalled MSWORD 2000 and then reinstalled it, but I still cannot create
a blank or new document. The same document keeps coming up." What can I do about it?"

Search for 'normal.dot' and rename it 'normal.old' (or delete it, if it will
let you). When you next start Word it will recreate the global template.
