Hi
One of our clients is using an XP system with Office 2002 loaded. We send many of our documents from Word 2000 with password protection. The client has now called 3 times to say they are unable to open our documents, and for some it doesn't get as far as the password request. The client gets an error message about the file being in "Documents and Settings". Does anyone have any ideas on how this can be resolved, or where to go looking for assistance? We have no option but to password protect our documents and Word won't protect under anything else but .doc extension. I did send her something in .rtf format and she was able to read the document, but that again doesn't solve the password issue
Any light on this would help greatly
Thanks
Sharon
