XP Office Update

Hello

Update requires XP Office disk. No problem. Update requires STDRET.MSI.
Search yields nada. Where is it?

Hello, Hello,

Is your XP disk for Office XP Standard? Did you purchase and install the CD
yourself, or was Office pre-installed? If it was pre-installed, the
installer may have used the wrong CD.

The MS Installer expects to find the same media used to originally install
the copy of Office you're using. You may want to check in Add/Remove
Programs in the Windows Control Panel to see what editions are listed and
uninstall then install from your current CD.
