XP Office

I just loaded Office XP on my laptop. Went out like a
good user and loaded the critical updates and service
packs. Now, my Word, Outlook etc all hang up when I am
not connected to our home network. What is wrong? This
is the second time I have loaded XP, installed the
updates and still this frustration.

I hope someone can help.
