XP-Pro, Outlook2003, mails often remain in outbox and resends

I use Win-XP-sp2, Office2003, F-secure.
I often experience that when sending e-mails, the e-mails stays in the
outbox, and resends several times without me knowing it.
Another problem that migth be related to the same error is that I-explorer
often do finish the search for new pages on the internet. I often have to
refresh several times or even restart. Most often this occurs when serching
for pages 2 -3 levels dowin in the "structure", and/or https pages.

Are there anyone who have any suggestions to what causes this problem(s),
and how to fix this?
