xp pro re install

Can you install xp pro and not loose all your drivers files programs etc.
last time id re installed i had to reinstall every thing lost all my
information.

You have posted to the MS Access group, the database application, you should
post to a winxp o/s group.

A reinstallation or repair instalation of winxp can be done, depending on
the sp levels of both the installation cd and that allready installed.
A clean installation of winxp will destroy all that currently resides on
your C drive
