XP Prof and Office XP Prof

I have purchased a copy of windows xp prof and windows
office xp prof. They are OEM 1 single copy I purchsaed as
I was buying parts for my newest system I was building
myself. I have always been told that each system had to
have its own personal copy. I have (3) kids in college
with older systems I have built and I have just purchased
a laptop. I would like to use my new oem xp prof and
office xp prof on more than one of these systems and the
laptop to have everything up to date but I want to be
legal. Can someone tell me if I can use these new disk
more than once and what if any limitations I may have.
Thank-you,

Windows XP Pro can be legally installed on only one computer. A retail copy of Office XP Pro can be legally installed on one desktop computer and one laptop computer owned by the same person as long as both computers are not used simultaneously.

As to Office, check out Office 2003 Student and Teacher edition. I
believe that is the one that can be installed on three devices.

Best bet is for you to read the licensing document that was included
with these two products, probably on paper with the CD and surely
electronic inside the applications on the Help menu. Upon install you
also were asked to read the license and agree to something. This was
discussed in that document.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
