XP: recently-used file list grayed out?

Hi,

I finally upgraded to Office XP since MS now offers a technology
upgrade guarantee to 2003.

But can anyone tell me why the recently-used file list under Tools,
Options is now grayed out? It worked fine in my previous version of
Word.

I haven't changed anything in my configuration, but I did add
Powerpoint to my setup (it was the Small Biz edition before).

Any and all suggestions appreciated!

Hey,

I found the answer in the MS KB. It was a setting in Tweak UI under
Internet Explorer. Change to show recently used files on Start Menu.
Now everything's fine! Apparently, previous versions weren't affected
buy this setting.
