XP subscription version

Does anyone know what MS is doing with the subscription
version of Office XP when the subscription runs out? I
unknowingly bought one and the seller claims MS gave it
an activation code that won't run out. Thanks for any
info.

Contact Microsoft for a non-expiring key to unlock the sub version. They
discontinued the subscription model for the time being.

Thank-you. Perhaps the seller's claim is true. I used the
online method of activating. No exp date showed however.
