XP Updates Offered for 2003

Sorry if this is a too-simple question. Why, when I run Office Update or
Microsoft Update, does it suggest updates for Office XP? All the systems I'm
trying to update run Office '03 SP1 or SP2.

Perhaps there are still some Office XP (2002) programs installed on the
computers? Check Add/Remove programs to see.

Well, duh! It never occurred to me to see if some Office XP programs were
still out there, and sure enough they were.
