Hi all.
I had activated the 3rd party software option and began designing my web
site with Frontpage 2003 on a Win XP SP3 Media Center desktop computer. After
installing the Office Live Web Folder Connector, I tried to access my web
folder, but kept getting errors. I rebooted, but no luck. Finally at one
point, it said "The version of Windows SharePoint Services running on the
server is more recent that the version you are using. You need a more recent
version of SharePoint Designer."
So I transferred all my files to a laptop which has Vista Home Premium. It
immediately connected to my web folder without installing the folder
connector program. I uploaded my files and was able to view them. I still
have a lot of work to do on the web site, and I can't be doing it from the
laptop. I need to get the XP system connected to my web folder - anyone have
some ideas of what I need to do?
Thanks for any help.
