xp with outlook 97

The Outlook Express that came with Works Suite 2003 (with
a new Dell) works fine with my XP, but now I want the
full Outlook which was in an office 97 program which I
added. The Outlook Express works but I can't get the
Outlook (97?) to read anything. My e-mail is through SBC
Yahoo dsl if that means anything.

1. Is this fixable?
2. If not, what do I have to buy to run XP with full
Outlook?

I hope somebody can help.
