XPS issues

Hi
Not sure where to post this, so apologies if not correct forum. I am using
Vista 2007 and i guess the Microsoft preferred way of printing an article or
page from a website is XPS. issues is XPS:
1. Does not always print the whole article
2. You can search (explore) for terms on your desk inside of XPS documents

Help or guidance please?

The problem with that is it varies with the web page. There
are many pages of creating and displaying web pages so often the same
method that works on one may not work well on another. Also your
computer may have some options that another does not have.

What kind of specific problems are you having?

One thing that often works for me is to highlight the parts of
the page I want and copy them to the clipboard (Control C) then past
them into an editor like Word. (Control P) Then edit out anything you
don't want.

Yes I do this for short articles, but for long ones you would have thought
you could chose the print article option which then brings up XPS as your
non-printer option. But XPS does not always print the full article
especially leaving out diagrams for some reason and you cannot search for
particular terms in a series of XPS documents making it about silly to have
them on your PC.

You will need some sort of pdf creating software. Adobe's Acrobat is one of
them but there are several low-cost/free options. Search with Google and
find one that meets your needs.

Have you tried:

File, Save As and choose "Web Archive (MHT)" as the file type?
